Pursuant to the provisions of Article 5 of Spanish Organic Law 15/1999 of 13 December 1999 on Protection of Personal Data, GEONICK FINDER, SL hereby informs its website users of its policy with regard to the protection of personal data and privacy, so that said users may be duly informed to freely, voluntarily and expressly decide whether they wish to provide their personal data.
Users are consequently informed that, for due management of the contracted services in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions of Use hereof, their data may be included within a file belonging to GEONICK FINDER, SL, which is duly recorded in the General Data Protection Register of the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
Data Collection and Foreseen Uses
The collection of personal data is carried out by means of a website form in which users interested in contracting the services offered by Geonick insert their personal data. The effective transfer of data takes place when the user clicks the “Send” button.
The collected data are appropriate, pertinent and not excessive for the scope, aims and services contracted. Furthermore, an asterisk (*) in the form itself marks which data are necessary and indispensable for registering as a Geonick user, and which are not.
All data sent by a user are deemed to be true, correct, accurate, complete and up to date. If any changes arise, it is the user’s sole responsibility to make any such updating known by regular post or e-mail.
The action of sending data by a user entails his or her consent to their being processed by GEONICK FINDER, SL and any other parties responsible for processing, as required in order to provide the contracted services.
The user expressly authorizes GEONICK FINDER, SL to send information periodically on the services rendered by the company relating to the services contracted by the user.
GEONICK FINDER, SL has adopted the levels of personal-data protection security required by regulations in force and has adopted and installed the necessary technical and organizational means provided to prevent the loss, incorrect use, alteration, unauthorized access and any other possible risks, in accordance with the current status of technology.
Nevertheless, GEONICK FINDER, SL shall not be held liable for any loss of or access to data resulting from problems beyond its control, such as third-party attacks and external sabotage.
Obligation to Maintain Secrecy
GEONICK FINDER, SL hereby undertakes to comply with the obligation to maintain the secrecy of the data provided by users, as set out in the applicable data-protection regulations. In particular, it informs users that, in accordance with the provisions of Article 12 of the Organic Law on Data Protection, GEONICK FINDER, SL signs the corresponding data-confidentiality and protection agreements with any third parties that may need to have access to personal data so that the services contracted with GEONICK FINDER, SL may be provided.
Transfers to Third Parties
By using the GEONICK applications, users can provide personal data to other users, and even communicate them publicly. Users shall be solely responsible for any data provided or communicated to third parties, and GEONICK FINDER, SL shall in no case be liable for any use or processing that may be made of such data.

Exercise of Rights of Access, Modification, Cancellation and Opposition
A user or a user’s representative may at any time exercise the rights of access, modification, cancellation and opposition in accordance with the provisions of the Organic Law on Data Protection and other applicable regulations on the subject.
